Fryer oil and motor oil will both be in abundance at the Canada Games Plaza on Friday.
The Library is joining the City at this week’s Foodie Fridays, bringing back their Touch a Truck event as a part of the day.
“We are really excited that we are able to once again host the beloved Touch a Truck event in the Plaza,” Jen Rebadeau, the Library’s Manager of Communications and Engagement said in a release. “The team has been working hard to connect with various community organizations and businesses to allow people of all ages an opportunity to come and see and touch a variety of different vehicles”
Some of these vehicles tentatively include a school bus, city bus, luxury coach, 48′ rig and trailer, sleeper rig, tractor, sheriff van, a drag car and truck, electric vehicles, a fire truck, and (of course), food trucks.
There will also be live music and face painting available.
Foodie Fridays runs from 11:00 to 3:00 in the Canada Games Plaza every week, this event will land on August 11th.
