Two PG residents charged in connection with stolen truck

Two Prince George residents are facing several charges regarding a stolen truck from southern BC.

Last Wednesday, Prince George’s Traffic Enforcement Section tried to pull over a green Ford F150 on Foothills Boulevard.

The truck failed to do so, and officers didn’t give chase.

Fifteen minutes later, RCMP arrested two people believed to be involved in the incident.

The vehicle was confirmed as being stolen four days earlier.

22-year-old Wiliiam Rahkola is facing charges of possession of stolen property, flight from police, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

26-year-old Rebecca Rahkola is facing the stolen property charge, as well as a probation violation.

The pair made their first appearance in provincial court this afternoon.
