The Fraser-Fort George Regional Hospital District has approved $2.04 million in funding for upgrades for lab services at UHNBC.
The funding was approved during the District’s Board Meetings on Thursday.
The funding is in addition to $1.8 million contributed last year.
The funds will be used to replace aging equipment, and allow the lab the ability to cope with increased test volumes and additional testing platforms.
