A part of University Way will be closed for three and a half weeks starting today. (Tuesday)
This is due to the Shane Creek Bridge resurfacing project, with an expected reopening on September 15th.
The project was initially set to start on August 8th, but was delayed.
UNBC will still be accessible by Tyner Boulevard.
For those who use BC Transit buses to get to the university, six bus stops along 15th Avenue between Foothills Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard will be closed.
The following BC Transit routes will be impacted:
- 15 UNBC/Downtown
- 16 UNBC/College Heights
- 19 UNBC/Westgate
REMINDER: University Way is closed to vehicles starting tomorrow (August 22) for repairs to the Shane Creek Bridge. It will reopen on September 15.
