Intersection of Highways 16 and 97 re-opened after overturned truck leaves the road

Drive BC road cams show that the intersection has since re-opened to traffic.

A motor vehicle incident that resulted in a truck being fully overturned left the intersection of highway 16 and 97 closed to traffic late last night (Tuesday).

At around 11:20, police and fire rescue flooded the highway intersection in response to the incident.

Little is currently known about what happened or if any injuries were sustained, but a pickup truck was resting on its cab roof in the middle of the intersection, and the street lights above the entrance to the gateway were also damaged.
