Prince George firefighters are determining the cause of a blaze at the local landfill on Foothills Boulevard.
Just after 6:30 pm on Friday, crews from three halls responded to the call where they found an active fire that was approximately 300×300 in size.
Contract equipment crews used on-site equipment to cover the area with thick dirt as firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Damage is estimated at $20,000 and there were no injuries to fire personnel.
