Following a scorching hot start to his rookie season in the WHL, Terik Parascak has been named the league’s Rookie of the Week.
The Cougars forward notched five goals and two assists in two games against the Victoria Royals this past weekend.
In Friday’s 11-2 schneidering over the Royals, Parascak scored four goals and added two assists.

He added one goal in Saturday’s 5-3 win over Victoria.

The product of Lethbridge, Alberta is leading the WHL in points (12) and goals (8).
“He’s a great young prospect for the Cougars and eventually the NHL,” commented Cougars Associate Coach Jim Playfair following the Cougars’ 5-3 win on Saturday against the Royals.
Parascak and the Cougars will return to action tomorrow, when the Cougars host the Kelowna Rockets.
