A Solidarity Gathering in support of Israel is being hosted in Prince George.
It is being held today at 5pm on the City Hall front lawn.
The event is being organized by Eli Klasner, a member of the Jewish and arts communities in PG.
Anyone who plans to attend is asked to wear blue and white and to bring their Canadian or Israeli flags.
The death toll from the ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas has passed 1,700, with over 900 killed and 2,700 injured in Israel and at least 830 people killed and 4,250 injured in Gaza, according to Palestinian and Israeli health services.
