The Prince George Cougars’ only game this weekend will be tonight (Friday) when they visit the Kelowna Rockets.
The (7-2) Cougars have won both meetings this season against the (2-3-1) Rockets.
Prince George is first in the 11-team Western Conference while Kelowna is seventh.
The Cougars are coming off a 2-1 Wednesday victory over the Swift Current Broncos.,

The (1-3-1) Prince George Spruce Kings are 0-2 on a 3-game road trip that wraps up tonight (Friday) in West Kelowna against the (4-2) Warriors.
The Spruce Kings fell 5-2 Wednesday in Penticton.

BC Elite Hockey League:
The first-place Vancouver North East Chiefs are in Prince George for a couple of games against the second-place U18 Cariboo Cougars.
The (6-0) Chiefs visit the (4-1-1) U18 Cougars on Saturday afternoon at 2:15 and Sunday morning at 10:30 at Kin 1 in the 9-team BC Elite Hockey League.

The Vancouver Canucks begin a 5-game road trip Saturday night at 7:00 against the Oilers in Edmonton.
The Canucks won their season opener Wednesday, 8-1 over the Oilers.

It was the Chiefs 16th straight win over the Broncos.
KC has won five straight.
The Chiefs have the best record in the AFC at 5-1 while the Broncos fell to 1-5.
There are 13 NFL games on Sunday including (3-1) Seattle at (2-3) Cincinnati.

CFL:
Week 19 of the CFL season starts tonight with the (11-5) B.C. Lions at the (8-8) Hamilton Tiger-Cats (4 PM PT).
The other league game this evening has (6-10) Saskatchewan at (4-11) Calgary (6:30).
The Lions will close their regular season with a home game against Calgary on Friday, Oct 20th (7 PM).
B.C. is two points behind the (12-4) Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Blue Bombers need one more win or a Lions loss to clinch first in the West Division.
Winnipeg is off until they host Edmonton on October 21st and conclude with a game in
Calgary on October 27th.

BC Football Conference: (BCFC)
The (2-7) Prince George Kodiaks conclude their second season in the BC Football Conference when they visit the (1-8) Kamloops Broncos on Saturday night at 6:00.
Prince George is 5th in the 7-team league, two points ahead of Kamloops.

Canada West Soccer:
The UNBC Timberwolves have home games this weekend in Canada West soccer at Masich Place Stadium.
The (2-7-2) UNBC men host the (2-10) Fraser Valley Cascades tonight at 7:45 and Sunday afternoon at 2:15.
(The UNBC men wrap up their regular season with a doubleheader in Kelowna against (3-7) UBC Okanagan on the 21st and 22nd (both noon starts).
