BCHL: (League Showcase in Seattle)

Nanaimo Clippers  7  Prince George Spruce Kings  2  (Thursday)

The (3-4-3) Spruce Kings play their next game Saturday night in Trail against the (5-4-3) Smoke Eaters.

Prince George Spruce Kings  5  Powell River Kings  4  (Wednesday)

Scott Cousins tallied his second goal of the game with just 2:50 left in the third period to snap a 4-4 tie.

WHL:

The Prince George Cougars visit the (8-6) Moose Jaw Warriors Saturday night (6:00 PT) and the (7-5-1) Regina Pats Sunday (3:00 PT) in their first two games on a 5-game East Division road trip.

The Cougars’ next home game is in two weeks on Friday, November 10th against Red Deer.

The (7-2-1) U18 Cariboo Cougars host the (4-4) Vancouver North West Hawks this weekend at Kin 1.

The two teams play Saturday night at 6:30 and Sunday morning at 10:30.

The U18 Cougars are first and the Hawks are  6th in the 9-team league.

NFL: (Start of Week 8)

The Bills are 5-3 while the Bucs sit 3-4.

There are 14 NFL games on Sunday including Cleveland at Seattle.

CFL: 

The (12-6) B.C. Lions are idle until they host the (6-11) Calgary Stampeders in the Western Semi-Final on Saturday, November 4th (3:30 PT).

The winner will play the (13-4) Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Final on Saturday, November 11th (3:30 PT).

The Blue Bombers visit Calgary tonight (Friday 6:00 PT) on the final weekend of the regular season.

In the East, the semifinal on November 4th (Noon PT) will feature the (8-9) Hamilton Tiger-Cats at the (10-7) Montreal Alouettes.

Those same teams meet Saturday in Montreal (1:00 PM PT) followed by (15-2) Toronto at (4-13) Ottawa (4:00) in the last regular season game.

The Argos host the East Final on November 11th (Noon PT).

The 110th Grey Cup is set for Hamilton on Sunday, November 19th (with kickoff shortly after 3:00 PT).

Baseball’s Fall Classic begins this weekend.
