WHL:

After a 5-day break, the Prince George Cougars return to action when they host the
(6-9-0-2) Red Deer Rebels Friday night at 7:00 in their only game on the long weekend.

The Rebels lost 4-3 Wednesday night in Langley against the Vancouver Giants.

The (12-5) Cougars lead the Western Conference by just one point over both the Portland Winterhawks (11-4-0-1) and the Wenatchee Wild (11-6-1).

BCHL: 

The (3-7-3) Prince George Spruce Kings are on home ice this weekend.

They will try to snap a 4-game losing streak when they host the (9-4-2) West Kelowna Warriors on Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00.

The Spruce Kings are 7th out of 8 teams in the Interior Division while the Warriors are 3rd.

The (9-2-1) Vancouver Canucks put a 4-game winning streak on the line when they start a 3-game Eastern Canada road trip tonight (Thursday 4:00 PT) in Ottawa against the (5-6) Senators.

Vancouver also plays at Toronto on Saturday (4 PM PT) and at Montreal on Sunday (4 PM PT).

The Canucks are in second place in both the Pacific Division and Western Conference.

Vancouver has an NHL-best plus 30 in goal differential (54 GF, 24 GA).

NBA:

Toronto Raptors  127  Dallas Mavericks  116

The (4-4) Raptors conclude a 4-game road trip Saturday (4 PM PT) against the Celtics in Boston.

NFL:

Two bottom teams meet in the NFL tonight (Thursday 5:15 PT) to start Week 10 of the season.

The (1-7) Carolina Panthers visit the (2-7) Chicago Bears.

CFL: 

The Grey Cup participants will be determined this weekend.

The CFL division finals kick off on Saturday starting with Montreal at Toronto in the East (noon PT) followed by B.C. at Winnipeg in the West (3:30).

The winners meet in the 110th Grey Cup game on Sunday, November 19th (shortly after 3:00 PT) in Hamilton.
