WHL:
The Prince George Cougars play the Vancouver Giants three times in four nights.
The (13-5) Cougars host the (7-10-1) Giants tonight (Tuesday) and Wednesday before the teams face off again on Friday in Langley.
Prince George will also play Saturday in Kelowna, giving them four games in five days.
The Cougars, coming off of Friday’s 4-3 shootout victory over Red Deer, lead the Western Conference standings by a point over the (12-4-0-1) Portland Winterhawks, while the Giants are tied for 9th out of 11 teams.

World U17 Hockey Challenge
Sniper Cameron Schmidt of Prince George scored in overtime for Team Canada White in a 2-1 victory over the USA in the Gold Medal game at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in PEI.

The 16-year-old Schmidt is playing this season with the Vancouver Giants.

Chase Harrington of P.G. a forward with the Spokane Chiefs, ended up 5th while playing for Team Canada Red.
BCHL:
The (4-8-3) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (7-6-0-1) Coquitlam Express Wednesday night.
The Spruce Kings are last in the 8-team Interior Division while the Express sit 5th out of 9 in the Coastal Division.
On the long weekend, Prince George split two home games against the West Kelowna Warriors; a 3-1 Friday victory was followed by a 4-1 Saturday loss.

It was the Oilers first game since Kris Knoblauch replaced the fired Jay Woodcroft as head coach. Leon Draisaitl notched a goal and three assists.
Colorado 5 Seattle 1
The (11-3-1) Vancouver Canucks host the (5-6-3) New York Islanders Wednesday night at 7:30.
The Canucks went 2-1 on their 3-game Eastern Canada road trip which was capped off with
Sunday’s 5-2 victory over Montreal.
There are 9 Tuesday games in the NHL with three Canadian teams in action: Calgary at Montreal and Winnipeg home against New Jersey.

NFL: (Final game in Week 11)
Denver Broncos 24 Buffalo Bills 22
Broncos kicker Wil Lutz booted a 36-yard field goal on the final play of the game. He was given a second chance after missing from 41 yards out because the Bills were flagged for too many players on the field.
Denver is 4-5 while Buffalo sits 5-5.

The 110th Grey Cup game features the Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the Montreal Alouettes.
It will be played in Hamilton on Sunday with kickoff just after 3 PM PT.
The B.C. Lions season came to a close after they lost the Western Final in Winnipeg 24-13.
