The Prince George Cougars will be back in action tomorrow night, starting a three game set against the Vancouver Giants.

The Cougars will host the Giants at the CN Centre tomorrow (Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.) and Wednesday (7:00 p.m.), and will travel to the Langley Events Centre on Friday.

They’ll then travel to Kelowna for a matchup with the Rockets on Saturday.

The Cougars won their lone game of the weekend over the Red Deer Rebels on Friday, 5-4 in the shootout.

The Cougars (13-5-0-0)sit atop the WHL’s Western Conference standings, one point ahead of the Portland Winterhawks. (12-4-0-1)

The Prince George Spruce Kings earned a weekend split against the West Kelowna Warriors.

On Friday, Marcus Ouellet stopped 30 of 31 shots to lift the Spruce Kings 3-1 over the Warriors.

The following night, the Warriors turned the tables, picking up the 4-1 win.

The Spruce Kings (4-8-3-0) are at the bottom of the BCHL’s Interior Division standings.

The Spruce Kings will host the Coquitlam Express at the Kopar Memorial Arena on Friday, before a brief two game road trip through Penticton and Merritt.
