The second Primetime Memorial Tournament was a success in and out of the ring.
The two-day event raised $2,706 for the Prince George Crisis Intervention and Prevention Centre.
This year’s edition of the tournament moved to the Roll-a-dome, allowing a combined 851 fans to enjoy the action on November 3rd and 4th.
‘The Aviator’ Sean Gaston of Kelowna was crowned the winner of the Primetime Tournament, outlasting the “Zombie Killer” Mentallo in the finals.
“Whether you like it or you don’t like it, you better learn to love it, because 2024 is going to be the year of Sean Gaston,” the victor said.
In other action, The Mauler claimed the Primetime Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, defeating the reigning champion Vance Nevada.

“It’s an unbelievable feeling to earn a win like that in front of my friends and family here in PG,” The Mauler said.
“I feel like I survived a war, but I know the challengers are already lining up for a shot at the hold, so there’s no resting on laurels, it’s time to take it to the next level.”
Since the debut of Primetime Wrestling a little over a year ago, the wrestling league has raised $13,033 for Prince George-based charities and causes.
Plans are underway for the next Primetime Wrestling show in February.
