Civic Light Up and Festival of Trees kickoff to be held next week

Live music, street hockey, face painting, and more will be offered in Canada Games Plaza next week as the Civic Light Up event and the opening night of the Festival of Trees both take place.

It will happen on Wednesday, November 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Civic Light Up will also feature complimentary hot chocolate and snacks, food trucks, and special visits from Santa, Mr. PG, and other local mascots.

The light-up itself takes place at 7:40 and will be followed by fireworks at 7:45.

The 30th annual Festival of Trees will open its doors for the first time that day as well. It costs $5 to get in, or $15 for a family pass.
