School board to elect chair and vice-chair on Tuesday

Internal SD57 school board elections are being held next week.

As is the case at every public November meeting, the school board will be given the chance to either re-elect its chair and vice-chair or elect other board members to the roles.

Rachael Weber and Craig Brennan have held the chair and vice-chair roles since this school board was elected last October.

The BCSTA Provincial Councillor, BCPSEA Representative, and their alternates will also be elected.

Whoever is elected chairperson will assume the position immediately.

The vote and the board meeting will be held in the school board office at 4:00 on Tuesday (November 28).

You can find the full meeting itinerary here.
