Prince George Cougars: 6  vs  Lethbridge Hurricanes: 4

The Prince George Cougars remain on top of the BC Division, Western Conference, and WHL standings with a win last night.

Koehn Ziemmer, Zac Funk, and Riley Heidt each had two goals, and combined for 10 points.

Prince George product Miguel Marques had three points for the Hurricanes.

The Cougars are 17-6-0-0, they will host the 15-9-1-0 Everett Silvertips in the CN Centre on Monday and Tuesday.

BCHL

Cranbrook Bucks: 4  vs  Prince George Spruce Kings: 1

The Prince George Spruce Kings continue to struggle on the bottom of the Interior Division standings.

They fell to the Cranbrook Bucks 4-1 on home ice last night, despite outshooting the Bucks 32-26.

Prince George’s record falls to 5-11-3-0 while Cranbrook improves to 8-12-1-0, extending their lead on the Spruce Kings for 7th in the conference.

They host the 16-3-0-0 Surrey Eagles tonight.

NHL

There are 8 games in the NHL tonight. The Vancouver Canucks should have a slam dunk against the San Jose Sharks at 7:00 tonight.

They beat the Kraken 5-1 yesterday, improving to 14-6-1.

NFL

Four games have already been played this week.

The Detroit Lions lost on thanksgiving, which in hindsight should have been the easiest bet of the week.

The second easiest bet will be on the Ravens winning.

NBA

There are 6 games in the NBA today.

The Raptors beat the Bulls last night, 121-108, getting back to .500, 8-8.

Prince George recorded its coldest temperature for October 13th this morning (Monday) according to Environment Canada. "Prince George Airport registered a low temperature of minus 9.5, which broke the record of minus 7.0, set in 1993," said Environment Canada Meteorologist Gary Dickinson.

Ice making process to start at two RDFFG rinks

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George says the ice making process will start at a couple of rural rinks this week. At the start of this month, the Regional District announced ice-making would be indefinitely suspended at the Robson Valley Recreation Centre in McBride and the Canoe Valley Recreation Centre in Valemount.
