In 2019, tourism was responsible for 6,641 jobs and close to five thousand full-time equivalent jobs in the north.

In addition, the Tourism PG annual scholarship will award $1,000 to a first-year student in the Tourism and Hotel Management Program.

“Tourism PG works hard to showcase the city of Prince George and the incredible businesses that serve it,” said Cindy Heitman, president and CEO of CNC.

“The partnership between Tourism PG and CNC is hugely beneficial to students and we look forward to the opportunities it will provide them as they pursue their lifelong careers.”

Applications for the scholarship close on February 28th, 2024.
