Activities aplenty for PG residents as city launches Winter Recreation Guide

The City of Prince George has a cure for the Winter Blues.

Today (Friday), they unveiled the 2023/2024 winter Community Association Recreation Guide.

It features a wide array of recreation opportunities offered by local community associations.

Sports such as floor hockey, indoor soccer or pickleball are available for all ages.

The Winter guide has also mapped out all the community outdoor ice rinks.

In addition, there are seven community associations within Prince George, and they all work with the City to offer programs in school gyms, fields, and parks throughout the city to residents of all ages and experience levels.

The seven associations are:

  • Beaverly West Leisure Society
  • Blackburn Community Association
  • College Heights Community Association
  • Crescents Community Association
  • Hart Community Association
  • South Bowl Community Association
  • West Bowl Community Association

All Prince George residents are welcome to register for any community association’s programs and events.

Registration is now open for many of the programs, and the guide lists all the upcoming community association programs for both children and adults, including when and how to register for specific activities.
