Three PG seniors to play in secondary school All-Star game at BC Place tomorrow

Three local football players will get a taste of their dreams tomorrow (Saturday) at the BC Secondary School (BCSS) Football Association All-Star Game.

Asa Moran, an O-Line from PGSS, Zander Lamarsh, a STKR O-Lineman, and Keegan Shiels, a CHSS Receiver, will all take to the field in BC place in front of fans and scouts to watch the 2023 BCSS Championship.

The All-Star game kicks off at 1:45 tomorrow afternoon and will be streamed live on YouTube.

There will be four other games in the Championship played tomorrow:

AA Junior Varsity Ballenas Whalers vs Vernon Panthers – 9:00 a.m.

AAA Junior Varsity South Delta Sun Devils vs Vancouver College Fighting Irish – 11:00 a.m.

AA Varsity Vernon Panthers vs John Barsby Bulldogs – 4:00 p.m.

AAA Varsity Carson Graham Eagles vs Vancouver College Fighting Irish – 7:15 p.m.

City Council to discuss potential purchasing bylaw amendments

Prince George City Council will consider a notice of motion in regards to the disposal of assets at tomorrow's (Monday) meeting. The notice of motion was put forward by Councillors Cori Ramsay and Brian Skakun, and recommends that Council refers the City's purchasing bylaw to bring back options to better articulate section 5.3 of the bylaw.
