2023 Hospice Dream Home Lottery winner drawn

The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society just gave another lucky person a brand new home.

This year’s winner is Prince George resident Juan Pablo Garcia Silva Perez.

Perez did not pick up the phone when Hospice’s Executive Director Donna Flood placed the congratulatory phone call, they are asking anyone who knows Perez to tell him to check his voicemail.

“We can’t do what we do at Hospice without this lotto,” Flood said before the draw, thanking everyone in the community who bought a ticket. “100% of the money we make through this lotto supports our Rotary Hospice House.”

The lottery draw sold out for the 9th year in a row, raising around $700,000 for Hospice – roughly 30% of their annual operating budget.

Tickets to Hospice’s January 50/50 draw are still for sale – if it sells out, the winner will go home with $250,000.
