Nearly 1000 self-storage lockers nearing completion in Prince George

U-Haul is opening a 990-unit self-storage facility in Prince George next year.

The facility is currently under construction at 7087 Bear Road near the Bon Voyage on a 5.24-acre lot the company acquired in 2022.

“Prince George is an attractive destination for DIY movers and students because it’s home to UNBC and CNC,” said Mason Kolahdouzan, U-Haul Company of British Columbia President. “As our customers continue to pack up U-Haul trucks and head to Prince George, there is greater demand for quality storage and residential mobility in the region. This new store will help satisfy that demand.”

Kolahdouzan said he aims to staff the facility with 15 employees.
