Prince George named 4th most generous city in Canada: GoFundMe report

The generosity of Prince George residents has caught the attention of GoFundMe.

During its 2023 Year In Giving Report, the northern capital ranked as the fourth most giving city in Canada.

BC cities took eight of the top ten spots with Victoria, North Vancouver and Vancouver placing in the top three.

The report calculated the generosity of communities from coast to coast, measuring the number of donations per capita made through the crowdfunding site in 2023.

Here’s the complete list of GoFundMe’s top 20 most generous communities in Canada.
