WHL:

Terik Parascak scored the Teddy Bear goal unassisted, the lone goal of the night.

 Josh Ravensbergen stopped all 16 shots he faced for his sixth shutout of the season.

The shutout tied a Cougars record for most shutouts in a season, set by Scott Bowles in the 2005-06 season.

The Cougars (22-8-0-0) are still atop the WHL Standings with 44 points, one ahead of the Saskatoon Blades (21-8-1-0) and three ahead of the Wenatchee Wild. (19-9-3-0)

The Cougars will finish off their pre-Christmas break schedule with a three-game road trip, starting with a stop in Everett to take on the Silvertips Wednesday.

BCHL: 

Cranbrook Bucks  4  Prince George Spruce Kings  2  

Linden Makow scored twice for the Spruce Kings in the loss.

The Spruce Kings (8-14-3-0) are at the bottom of the BCHL’s Interior Division standings.

The Spruce Kings will finish off their pre-Christmas break schedule next weekend when the Trail Smoke Eaters come to town for a pair of games.
