Two new buses running in Prince George, costing $435,000

BC Transit has announced two new buses are now running in Prince George.

The are both 26-foot light-duty AROBC Spirit of Freedom buses, one can seat 18 passengers and “provide flexibility for up to two mobility aids,” while the other can carry 16 passengers and has flexibility for three mobility aids.

According to BC Transit, the buses came with a $435,706 price tag which was paid by the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP).

The ICIP gets its money from a combination of all three levels of government and “other partners.”
