Regional District of Fraser-Fort George names Chris Calder new CAO

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has found their new Chief Administrative Officer.

Chris Calder will assume the role from Jim Martin, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Calder is the current General Manager of Finance within the Regional District, a role he’s been in since June 2018.

“We are delighted to work with Chris in this new capacity,” said Regional District Board Chair Lara Beckett.

“Over the past five and a half years, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership and an exceptional understanding of the financial challenges facing the Regional District. We look forward to working with him and we know there is a string team supporting him as he transitions into this new role.”

As CAO, Calder will be responsible for all aspects of Regional District operations.

BC Transit enables digital validation for BC Bus Pass users
