Drive BC estimates the highway will be open around 1:00 this afternoon.

A 40-kilometer stretch of Highway 97 is shut down north of Prince George around Powder King.
According to Drive BC, the shutdown was caused by a “vehicle incident between Powder King Rd and Old Hasler Rd.”
#BCHwy97 – ROAD CLOSED between Powder King + Old Hasler roads for 40.4 km (41 to 1 km north of Pine Pass Summit) due to a vehicle incident.
