The North Cariboo SPCA has one simple piece of advice if you’re considering taking your dogs in your car with you this spring and summer – leave them at home instead.

Thompson says they routinely get “hot dog” calls here in Northern BC but can’t remember a time when an animal has died after being left in a car.
All of this after six missing dogs were allegedly found dead in the back of a car due to heat exhaustion in Abbotsford Monday.
