PG Firefighters doused a blaze on Lower Patricia Boulevard yesterday. (Thursday)
Two PG Fire Rescue Halls responded to a reported outbuilding fire in the area at around 2:46 p.m.
When they arrived crews found an outbuilding approximately four metres by four metres completely involved.
The fire was attacked from Upper Patricia for easier access to the location, and to contain any further spread of the fire up the hillside.
The fire was quickly contained, and no surrounding structures were damaged.
According to fire crews, the fire appeared to be started by an unregulated heating appliance placed in the structure of origin.
