39-year-old PG man charged with attempted murder following Ottawa Street shooting

The investigation continues into a shooting incident at the UNDU building on the 500-block of Ottawa Street Friday morning (January 5th).

“Investigators with the Serious Crime Unit arrested the accused, 39-year-old Prince George resident Fabian James Charlie, shortly after arriving at the location. Police officers remained at the UNDU building for the bulk of that day as they gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved one count of attempted murder in relation to this incident. Charlie will remain in custody until his next court appearance.

The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries.
