WHL: 

Prince George Cougars  3  Tri-City Americans  2 

Zac Funk, Carlin Dezainde, and Borya Valis scored for the Cougars in the win.

 

Former Cougar Carter MacAdams picked up an assist against his old team.

The Cougars (31-14-0-1) are in a three-way tie points wise for the lead in the WHL’s Western Conference with the Portland Winterhawks (30-11-2-1) and the Everett Silvertips (30-15-1-2).

The Cougars are back in action this afternoon against the Wenatchee Wild. (4:00 pm)

The Spruce Kings left Charlie Zolin out to dry, as the netminder faced 47 shots.
