Prince George and several other communities in the northern part of the province ranked in the second tier of the most economically resilient cities.
According to the 10th annual report published by BC Business, Prince George ranked 35th out of 50 communities, a nine-spot climb when compared to last year’s survey.
Some of the criteria included housing growth, unemployment and economic diversity.
Central Saanich claimed the top spot in the survey.
Fort St. John (43rd), Williams Lake (44th), Terrace (45th), Dawson Creek (48th), Prince Rupert (49th) and Quesnel (50th) rated near the bottom.
