Pro Wrestling returns to Civic Centre next weekend

Primetime Wrestling’s next show is coming up in under one week.

After starting in the House of Ancestors in 2022, the show will now move to its third and largest venue – the Prince George Civic Centre.

The show will feature hometown staples, including The Mauler and the Prospector, but WWE talent will also be making an appearance on the mat.

4’2 Short Sleeve Sampson, who made multiple WWE appearances between 2003 and 2014, will be coming to Prince George from New York to wrestle in the event.

“Thanks to the support of our amazing sponsors, and all the wrestling fans, we are over the moon excited to be able to bring such an amazing talent to our upcoming event”  states Primetime CEO Davy Greenlees “Sampson has wrestled in many iconic matches over the years and those in attendance will be treated to something equally as special.”

“God of Thunder” Andy Anderson, from Edmonton, will also wrestle next weekend.

Anderson has been featured on WWE, WCW, and toured the world as a pro wrestler.

Primetime Wrestling’s events have raised over $13,000 for local causes since its inception.

This event will support the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

“What a thrill to be a part of this event!” Aimee Cassie, CEO of the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, said in a news release. “The team at Primetime Entertainment gives back year-round to our community, and this particular event will support the enhancement of care for our friends and families treated at UHNBC.”

Tickets to the February 16th and 17th events are available at the Scrapbook Zone on 18th avenue.
