PG Cougars forward Hunter Laing is the WHL Rookie of the Week.
Laing, 17, notched three goals and an assist in two games against Victoria this past weekend.
In Friday’s 4-1 win over the Royals, Laing opened the scoring on the powerplay, potting a missed shot pasted Jayden Kraus.

On Saturday, Laing scored the first two for the Cougars in their 9-6 win.

Laing has 10 goals and nine assists in 52 games this season.
Laing, a product of Kelowna, is ranked 108th among all North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
Laing joins fellow Cougars Terik Parascak (4x) and Josh Ravensbergen as a Rookie of the Week winners this season.
