Primetime Wrestling takes the stage in the Civic Centre this weekend

Professional wrestling is making it’s return to the Prince George Civic Centre this weekend, as Primetime Wrestling moves to a bigger venue.

“We have a lot of great things happening, including WWE star Short Sleeve Sampson, who is a little-person performer from Mighty Midget Warriors Wrestling, as well as former WWE and AEW Wrestler Andy Anderson,” said Primetime CEO Davy Greenlees.

“There’ll be some tag-team action, there’s going to be some title matches, we have a title match between the Barlow Creek Butcher, who is probably one of our scariest wrestlers going, he’s going to be taking on our Northwestern Champion, “Backstage Pass” Braydon Goss.”

This weekend’s shows will be supporting the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

“We’ve chosen to help out pediatrics at this time,” Greenlees said.

“They are just an amazing local charity, the funds all go local and stay and look after everybody in Prince George, and that’s really what Primetime is all about, it’s about being local and looking after our community.”

Greenlees added they have many more shows planned at the Civic Centre this year, and they will be announced closer to the dates.
