One man was taken into custody following a police incident along Eighth Avenue.
According to the Prince George RCMP, a 9-1-1 call came in just before 9am this morning (Monday) following a report of shots fired.
Officers flooded the 1600 block, and the suspect was caught five minutes later.
Cpl. Jennifer Cooper stated no injuries were reported in relation to the incident.
“Due to the swift actions of our police officers in getting the suspect into custody, so quickly, there is no increased risk to the public,” added Cooper.
The investigation is in its initial stages and anyone with information is asked to contact the detachment’s non-emergency line.
