Spokane Chiefs: 5  vs  Prince George Cougars: 4 (overtime)

The Cougars have points in all of their last 10 games, but only one last night.

Finding themselves down 4-1 at the start of the third, the Cats rallied to score three in the final period to send the game to overtime.

Spokane’s Brayden Crampton halted the comeback 1:11 into overtime.

On the day he signed his NHL contract with the Washington Capitals, Zac Funk had two goals and an assist – even after missing most of the second period after taking a put to the face.

Vernon Vipers: 7  vs  Prince George Spruce Kings: 5

The Spruce Kings found themselves on the wrong side of a offense heavy game in Vernon last night.

They fought to tie the game 3-3 in the second period after trailing 3-1 through the first.

Luca Primerano scored with a minute left in the game to make it 6-5 Vernon, but the Vipers found the empty net with 3 seconds left in the game.

Kilian McGregor-Bennett had two goals in the game.
