Prince George RCMP arrest late night graffitist

The Prince George RCMP arrested a man for graffitiing a third avenue building in the early hours of the morning today (Saturday).

An on-duty security guard in the area was able to give police a description of the man, he was arrested a short distance away from the 1500 block of Third Avenue where the graffiti happened.

The arrested person is not well known to police – the RCMP added the graffiti was “centered around the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

City Council approves budget to replace damaged garbage truck

Prince George City Council has voted to replace a garbage truck in the city. At last night's (Monday) meeting, City Council approved a budget of $750,000 for the purchase.  According to Director of Civic Operations Blake McIntosh, this will replace a garbage truck damaged in a motor vehicle incident in May last year.
