The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and Northern Health have issued a warning about the air quality in the Prince George area.
They say there are “high concentrations of fine particulate matter” in the air.
These conditions are expected to remain until there is a change in weather.
Anyone who has respiratory or other health issues is being asked to take caution.
The City of Prince George’s Clean Air Bylaw does not allow for recreational fires and wood-burning appliances to be lit while an air quality advisory is in place.
