In a few weeks, BC Transit will be launching their new electronic payment system in Prince George.
The new system, called “Umo” allows riders the choice of using an app on their phone or a reloadable card as their payment method.
BC Transit says this will improve the transit experience by allowing riders to pick the best option for their lifestyle and travel habits.
BC Transit will also be holding engagement sessions to educate the public on the new system:
- March 19th: 4:00 to 6:00 pm: Canfor Leisure Pool
- March 20th: 10:00am to 12:00pm: UNBC Bookstore
