Railway museum debuting new art exhibit this weekend

Local artist Jeanette Orydzuk will have her artwork showcased in the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum this weekend.

Her exhibit is called Our Own Backyard, which Orydzuk describes as “a collection of feelings around local and nearby landscapes of this region we call home, and the backyard we call this province.”

According to the Museum, Orydzuk was an art educator for many years and participated in Prince George’s 2006 Spirit Bear project.

The exhibit, which will be full of Orydzuk’s original works, opens on Saturday (April 6) at 2:00 and will run until June 22nd.

The opening will be free to attend, and Orydzuk will be present to speak about her art and answer questions.
