Library’s annual spring book sale being held this weekend

The Prince George Public Library is doing some spring cleaning this weekend.

The Friends of the Prince George Public Library (PGPL) and the library itself are holding the annual spring book sale on Friday and Saturday.

Members of the Friends of the PGPL get the first crack at the books between 3:00 and 5:30 on Friday (April 11). Anyone who is not a member can buy a membership for $5 at the door.

Saturday’s sale will be held between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm, everyone is welcome.

All sales are by donation.

The fundraising event draws in hundreds each time it is held, the library expects that to be no different this year.

The Friends of the PGPL have raised over $440,000 for the library through fundraisers like these since 1990.
