WHL

Prince George Cougars: 4  vs  Kelowna Rockets: 0

The Cougars opened their second round series with another win last night, shutting out the Rockets in front of a sold out CN Centre.

Josh Ravensbergen earned his 7th shutout of the year and his first career playoff shutout.

Four different Cougars provided the scoring.

Game 2 goes tonight at the CN Centre at 6:00 – games 3 and 4 will be played in Kelowna on Tuesday and Wednesday.

NHL

There are 13 games in the NHL today, and playoffs start in one week.

Most will be keeping an eye on the Islanders, Penguins, Red Wings, Capitals, and Flyers as they compete for the last two playoff spots in the East.

It also looks like this will be the end of hockey in the desert.

MLB

The Blue Jays were not able to claw back to .500 yesterday, instead they lost 12-4 to the Colorado Rockies to fall to 6-8 in the young season.

They rematch today at 12:07.

NBA

There are no games in the NBA today.

The Raptors and Heat play at 10:00 tomorrow morning.
