The City is about to start work on a new off-leash dog park in Southridge.
It will be built in the grassy area right next to the hockey rink/basketball court on Southridge Avenue between St. Anthony Crescent and Dakelh Ti.
Construction begins this week, including the installation of a fence, with the goal of the park opening in the early summer.
This will be Prince George’s sixth off-leash park, joining Corporal Darren Fitzpatrick Bravery Park, Duchess Park, Moore’s Meadow, Ginter’s Meadow, and Ingledew Park.
