P.G. Cougars fans in frenzy for Game 5 tickets

All the seats and standing room only tickets for Game 5 against Kelowna have been sold, however, a few additional seats in the stands may be opening up for sale (Friday) at noon.

According to the Cougars, there are 72 tickets up for sale online – the hefty majority are standing room, which were not available earlier in the day.

34 seated tickets are still at the CN Centre Box office and cannot currently be purchased online.

A limited amount of tickets reserved for friends and family members of each team that go unclaimed will also go up for sale at noon tomorrow.

It only took about 12 hours for thousands of Prince George Cougars fans to gobble up their tickets for Game 5 against the Kelowna Rockets.

The Cougars were unable to complete their second round series sweep in Kelowna last night – losing 2-1 – and now lead the series 3-1 heading into game 5 which will be played tomorrow night (Friday).

Tickets to Game 5 went on sale online as the final buzzer sounded in Kelowna.

The Cougars confirmed to My PG Now 3,500 tickets to the game sold in the first hour.

12 hours later, every ticket available online has been sold.

The Cougars have held back around 350 tickets at the CN Centre Box office for in-person purchase.

The box office opened at 11:00 this morning (Thursday).

A limited amount of tickets reserved for friends and family members of each team that go unclaimed will also go up for sale at noon tomorrow.
