A structure fire along the 100 block of Anderson Street resulted in $100,000 in damage.
Prince George Firefighters responded to the call prior to 6 o’clock this morning (Friday).
Upon arrival, three halls noticed heavy smoke and a flame coming from one large window.
The blaze was extinguished, and neighbouring homes were not impacted.
There were no injuries to crews or residents, and those displaced are being assisted by emergency social services.
The cause is under investigation.
It’s been a busy week for local firefighters. On Wednesday night, a tire fire at 448 4th Avenue was put out.
On Monday, one person died following a house fire on Chestnut Drive in the Hart that resulted in $250,000 worth of damage.
