BC Wildlife Federation hosting town hall meetings

The BC Wildlife Federation is co-hosting a series of Town Hall meetings in anticipation of this year’s provincial election, including one in Prince George.

The Federation says the meetings will be held with local wildlife clubs, with MLAs and candidates invited to discuss the state of wildlife management in the province.

In addition to the meeting in Prince George, which will happen on May 4th at UNBC, meetings will also happen in Smithers, Cranbrook, Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, and Lone Butte.

The BC Wildlife Federation is calling for several wildlife management issues to be set in legislation, such as wildlife, habitat, and disease management.
