London Drugs remains in holding pattern after cyber attack

It still remains to be seen when all London Drugs locations across Western Canada including the Parkwood Place storefront in PG can re-open.

A cyberattack that occurred on Sunday forced the temporary closure of its operations.

No other details were shared about the investigation into the incident.

The company has called in “leading” third-party cybersecurity experts to bring operations back online.

London Drugs phone lines have been temporary taken down and will be restored as soon as possible.

In the interim, Pharmacy staff are on-site to support customers with urgent pharmacy needs.

The company issued the following statement to MyPGNow.com

“Our investigation is currently assessing the extent to which any data has been compromised in the incident. In the event our investigation determines that personal information was impacted, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with privacy laws.”

“Recognizing the impact these closures have had on our customers and employees across Western Canada, it remains our priority to continue working around the clock to have all stores fully operational,” says Clint Mahlman, COO and President, London Drugs. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this very difficult time and will provide updates as available.”
