Cougars’ goaltender Josh Ravensbergen has been named the WHL’s top rookie for the month of April.
Joshua Ravensbergen now goes by, ‘The Super Goalie.’

“The Berger” played in 8 playoff games in April, earning 6 wins – three of which were shutouts – a 2.10 GAA, and a .930 SV%.
He has eight of the Cougars’ nine playoff wins so far this postseason, and was a huge part of the team advancing to the Western Conference Final for the first time since 2007.
He had not previously been named Rookie of the Month this season, but was the WHL’s Goalie of the Month in November.
The Cougars play the Winterhawks in game 4 of their series tonight at 7:00 in Portland.
For the first time this year the Cougars trail in a playoff series, 2-1.
