PG RCMP looking for man wanted on multiple charges

Update – May 15: Kenneth Tyron Wiese is no longer wanted by the RCMP.

Original Story – May 1:

The Prince George RCMP is searching for 36-year-old Kenneth Tyron Thomas George Wiese.

He is wanted on an unendorsed warrant for:

  • Break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offense x2
  • Possession of break and enter tools x2
  • Possession of stolen property under $5,000 x2

Police describe him as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 6’0 (183 cm)
  • 221 lb (100 kg)
  • Blonde hair, balding
  • Blue eyes

Anyone with information on where Wiese is is being asked to contact the PG RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Cause of Nechako Bottle Depot fire remains unknown, investigation to commence this week

Prince George Fire Rescue Chief Fire Bryan Burleigh says an insurance adjuster has been assigned in the fire that destroyed the Nechako Bottle Depot Sunday, and an investigation will commence this week. Fire crews were called to the depot just before 5:00 Sunday morning, and spent much of the day battling the blaze before calling it extinguished in the evening.
